Staying Centred in a Chaotic World

It’s hard to stay centred in this chaotic world of ours.

It feels like wherever we look the planet is in so much distress – both the natural world and our emotional worlds. The ground beneath our feet feels as though it is moving, both physically and metaphorically as so many people are presently struggling to overcome such a wide variety of personal and professional challenges.

We Want Peace

We want stability and we want peace. But change for the better does not often come when we have those conditions. It comes when we have chaos and turmoil. It comes because chaos and turmoil create the conditions for us to reflect on what is not working and give us the opportunity to think how we might create something better.

Each one of us has something to offer the World

Few of us have great influence over world events. But each one of us is powerful in our own way. At present there are so many opportunities to come together with likeminded people and focus on trying to improve what you really care about. When you join together with the aim of trying to create a better world, there is no limit to what you might achieve – in your own small way.

Focus on what you can do, and not on what you can’t

So stay centred and think about where your passion lies and know that is where you will be most likely to make an impact.  Focus not on what isn’t working but on what you can offer, in your own unique way, to make a small difference. When you do that, your power will return to your centre and suddenly the words ‘mission and purpose’ will become clear as you work on whatever it is you are here to do.
