As the structure of our working lives changes, many new opportunities are opening up for people who have good skill-sets in areas which they hadn’t realised were of great value to other people.

Every time someone decides to set up on their own after working for a large organisation, they need to organise many of the services that their previous company provided.

They need  legal advice, tax advice for their new status, meeting-rooms with and without wi-fi access -  newly created club spaces or other suitable areas. 

They need new service contracts for insurance, telephones, cars (if they had a company car), pensions, healthcare, online providers, IT consultants and many other aspects of daily work life which had previously been organised for them.

They need a website to promote what they do plus regular updating and search engine facilities.

They need to have stationery printed and possibly brochures and other material.

Sometimes they don’t know the price of a first class stamp. 

And it can be a real effort thinking about the cost and the best way to get a  thick envelope posted.

There is a huge amount of administration which many people who have worked for a company all their life have not had to think about for years.

And during that time so many rules and regulations have been introduced in every aspect of our lives often making the simplest transaction overly complicated.

This leads to opportunities for people setting up outsourcing businesses.

People are starting up on their own either because they have lost their job or because they are making a new career move.  

All those people need administrative support from other people to help them get on with the special expertise they have that must generate their future income and give them the wherewithal to pay for their administrative help.

If you have good administrative ability and can set up good deals in today’s highly complex sophisticated service market, your skills have never been more in demand.
